BPI performs a wide variety of projects including: telecommunication services, commercial and institutional construction, mass excavation, utility installation, and large drainage projects. BPI is staffed to handle projects designed by engineering and architectural firms as well as those projects that require design/build or construction management capabilities. Our staff is well versed in the construction of all facets of the wireless and telecommunications industry, including the design of new cell sites and the engineering and design required for the integration and updating of wireless networks.
As a general contractor, BPI typically performs all site work including excavation, underground utilities, road maintenance, and drainage; plus all structural steel erection, concrete, and carpentry work. Through affiliate companies, BPI produces construction aggregate materials, asphalt materials, and performs commercial construction, maintenance and modifications.

1953 - Company began by building new homes throughout West Virginia
1955 - First church to be built using a new method called "cost plus fixed fee". This is considered to be the first "construction management contract" used in West Virginia, and it gave the company a reputation for doing what it could to keep costs low while still providing superior results.
1957 - Commercial building expanded from local to statewide. Expanded its reach and began work in traditional commercial and industrial projects.
1975 - Church, commercial and industrial construction expanded from statewide to national and international. Projects were awarded in Arizona, Texas and Canada.
1977 - Architectural, engineering and master planning began with full time offices in West Virginia and Atlanta, GA.
1988 - Terry Wells succeeds his father, Otis Wells, as President of the company.
1997 - Expanded operations into the wireless industry.
